Store: Apple (AAPL) is reportedly planning to open a new Apple Store in Latin America, reports AppleInsider. The report comes from an unnamed source that claims the first Store opened in the Mexico will be at a mall located in Mexico City. This would make it the third Store the company has in Latin America. The same source of the rumor also claims that the location will be one of AAPL’s next-gen stores.
Watch: New Apple Watch variants are rumored to be coming for the Chinese New Year, Mashable notes. The new Watches that are expected to be released for the Chinese New Year have yellow gold aluminium and silver aluminium finishes. The devices will be available in 38mm and 42mm sizes. They will also come paired with red straps. Red is a common color to bring good luck during the Chinese New Year.
Headphone: More rumors are claiming that the iPhone 7 won’t have a headphone jack, reports MacRumors. These new rumors come from unnamed sources that are claimed to be from the supply lines for AAPL’s next-generation smartphone. There’s speculation that the tech company will release a set of Bluetooth EarPods to get around the missing headphone jack. Other rumors claim that the company will release EarPods that connect to the iPhone 7 via its Lightning port. The rumor also claims that the Lightning ports on the new iPhone will be able to handle audio, but that an adapter will be needed for normal headphones to work with it.
