A United Airlines (NYSE:UAL) flight slid off an icy runway in Spokane Tuesday morning.
The plane was scheduled to depart for Denver and it skid off the taxiway as it was preparing to leave the gate in the Washington airport around 6 a.m.
A United Airlines spokesperson confirmed the airline was getting its passengers off the plane and busing them back to the terminal. The airline is inspecting the plane for maintenance.
The Spokane airport was closed temporarily for two hours as it worked to ensure “adequate braking conditions” were established.
No injuries were reported and the aircraft did not suffer any damage.
UAL stock is down 0.9% Tuesday.
