This outpaced the 1.6 million Surface units that it claims Microsoft sold during the same time. The data suggests that customers are willing to spend more on high quality tablets rather than buying more affordable devices with less features.
Case: Images of a third-party case designed for the iPad Air 3 have shown up online, MacRumors notes. The images show a case that has changed to fit with a tablet that has four speakers similar to the iPad Pro’s setup. It also has an empty spot for the rumored camera flash and what appears to be a slot for a Smart Connector. This is the same type of connector used in the iPad Pro to power accessories, which means that iPad Air 3 may be compatible with those devices.
Air: Sketches of the possible design for the iPad Air 3 have been leaked, reports Engadget. These sketches come from an unnamed source that is claimed to be reliable. The design of the iPad Air 3 in the images falls in line with previous rumors and the case mentioned above. It includes four speakers like the iPad Pro, a spot for a camera flash and a Smart Connector. This design has the rumored tablet being slightly thicker and wider than the iPad Air 2.
