Apple Rumors, Siri, OS X 10.12, AAPLKeyboard: Apple (AAPL) has released a firmware update for its iPad Pro Smart Keyboard, reports AppleInsider. Owners of the iPad Pro accessory are promoted to install the update if they connect it to their devices while they have an internet connection. The update only takes a few second to download and is available for users running iOS 9.2 and the iOS 9.3 beta. It’s unknown what exactly the update included as there were no patch notes released with it.

Pencil: Apple has confirmed that the iPad Pro Pencil will be getting additional functionality back in the next iOS 9.3 beta, reports The Verge. The tech company said that it removed some of the accessory’s functionality from current beta builds to improve it. AAPL said that it still believes the finger will remain the main way to interact with its touchscreen devices, but that it understands many iPad Pro users have become fond of using the Pencil for navigation on the tablet.

Siri: Apple is reportedly planning to add Siri to OS X this year, reports 9to5Mac. Reports claim that Siri will be added to the company’s computer operating system when it launches OS X 10.12 in the fall. It’s believed that Siri will be placed in the Mac Menu Bar and that clicking it will allow users to speak with the virtual assistant. It’s possible that this new use for Siri will be shown off in June at AAPL’s Worldwide Developers Conference, which is when OS X 10.12 will likely be revealed.
