Google (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) plans on selling its robot company.
The tech giant has put Boston Dynamics in the market following a February video that revealed a two-legged humanoid robot walking through snow, and another one crouching down and lifting a brown box.
The video was hit, receiving tens of millions of views over the next few weeks. The video was the result of Google’s work with Boston Dynamics, which is at the forefront of robot technology today.
However, Google has yet to determine a plan that generates real revenue, adding that Boston Dynamics is not likely to earn the company any money over the next few years.
As a result, the company has been put on the market.nd an unsuccessful effort to recruit a new leader.
