McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) has added a twist to its Happy Meal boxes.

McDonald's

The boxes that usually contain McNuggets, cheeseburgers, or fries can now double up as cardboard virtual reality headsets. McDonald’s is calling them “Happy Goggles.”

The limited-time promotion for the do-it-yourself VR headset — which are probably quite greasy — is part of a limited-time promotion at McDonald’s locations in Sweden.

In order to transform your Happy Goggles, you take an empty box, tear along the perforated lines, fold the cardboard and insert the included virtual reality lenses. A compatible smartphone can then be inserted into the goggles and used for a 360-degree video experience.

“The Happy Meal simply must move with the times. But evolution doesn’t always mean radical change,” a website promoting the VR initiative says. “For us it meant a bit of ripping, folding and sliding.”

MCD stock is up 1.4% Tuesday.
