Aristotle’s tomb may have just been discovered.

AristotleGreek archeologist Konstantinos Sismanidis dug up a structure located 40 miles east of Thessaloniki, and the grave site is consistent with the place where the philosopher was enshrined thousands of years ago.

The death of Aristotle took place in Chalcis, on the island of Euboea. His body was taken several years later to his birthplace and an altar was erected in his honor.

The philosopher was hailed as a hero by his hometown. However, it is hard to determine whether or not this is Aristotle’s grave because a tower was built in the gravesite during the Middle Ages and a lot of data was destroyed.
