IBM (NYSE:IBM) has teamed up with Local Motors to launch a unique bus.
The vehicle is called Olli, it has no driver and it was designed and printed out using a 3D printer. The autonomous bus is also partially recyclable.
The 12-seat vehicle is wired with sensors to ensure its self-driving functionalities. Local Motors printed Olli at its National Harbor campus.
The company often uses crowdsourcing as a method of attaining its funds.
IBM stock is up 0.2% Thursday.
