Twitter, Vine Now Support 140-Second Videos

Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) and Vine have a new feature that allows for longer videos.

TwitterPreviously, you could only upload videos that were up to six seconds long. Now, the social media sites permit videos that are up to 140 seconds long.

Using Vine, you can still upload videos that are six seconds long as a preview, and you can include a full 140-second video alongside it.

Content creators will also be paid for the first time, and they get to keep 70% of the revenue their content generates.

TWTR stock is down 0.1% Tuesday.
