Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) may be working on its own Android smartwatches.
A recent report claims that Alphabet is working on two possible Nexus smartwatches. It claims these devices wouldn’t be released until after the new Nexus smartphones are announced. One watch would be larger and include more features than the other.
The report comes from Android Police and they give it a confidence level rating of 9 out of 10. The online publication claims that the reason it’s so sure about this rumor being true is the source that it came from.
Android Police claims that the Alphabet smartwatches will both have circular displays. The larger of the two possible Nexus smartwatches is code-named “Angelfish” and the smaller is currently going by “Swordfish”.
