Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) and the NBA have reached an agreement for more original content.
The deal between Twitter and the NBA will have a new pre-game show appearing on the streaming service. This show will be specifically designed to interact with users of the social media platform. It will be available to anyone, even those that aren’t logged in to the service.
The deal will also include another new NBA show that will be added to Twitter before the start of the 2016-17 season. This show will also be exclusive to TWTR. There will also be additional videos, such as highlight reels, showing up on the service.
“This expanded partnership will help feed our fans’ growing demand for the NBA by more deeply integrating the league across Twitter’s many platforms,” said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
