Apple Rumors and AAPL Stock News – iPhone Preorders Restocked

Here’s the latest Apple rumors and news on AAPL stock as of Wednesday June 23, covering everything from the iPhone to Mac computers:

iPhone Preorders: AT&T (T) promised that a new round of iPhone 4 preorders will be up and running in a week or so. Last week, AT&T stopped accepting new preorders for Apple Inc.’s iPhone 4 after receiving more than 600,000 preorders. AT&T’s servers crashed due to demand for the device. The phone service provider announced yesterday afternoon via its Facebook page that they all previously filled preorders would be met on launch day, with new preorders made after June 22 would be met by June 29.

Adobe on the Mac — but Not Flash: Adobe (ADBE) Audio Production Software Coming to Mac: While Adobe’s post-production audio software Audition has been rumored to be coming to Mac operating systems since June 4, Adobe confirmed today that the rumors are true. A YouTube video of the software running on Mac’s OSX appeared on the internet, but the software company refuse to comment on its legitimacy. Audition, already on version 3.0 for Microsoft’s (MSFT) Windows operating system, will enter Beta testing on Mac platforms later this year. No word yet whether Steve Jobs will actually come around on iPad Flash compatibility.

Kindle and iPhone Team Up Again: A new Amazon (AMZN) Kindle app will launch with the iPhone 4. Amazon will release a new version of its app when the new smartphone from Apple Inc. is released tomorrow. In addition to letting Kindle owners read their purchases on APPL’s smartphone, the app has been optimized for iPhone 4 Retina display.
