Kristen Johnston, who starred in 3rd Rock From the Sun, has revealed via her Facebook (FB) page that she has joined the list of celebrities with lupus.
Johnston has been diagnosed with lupus myelitis, which is a disorder that of the nervous system linked to inflammation of the spinal cord. The actress says that she wasn’t trying to be “‘coy,’ ‘relevant’ or ‘get attention'” and that she was “just diagnosed,” reports USA Today.

Lady Gaga hasn’t joined the list of celebrities with lupus, yet.
“And ah, the truth is, I don’t show any signs, ah, any symptoms of Lupus. But I have tested borderline positive for the disease,” Lady Gaga told CBS News. So, as of right now, I do not have it, but I have to take good care of myself.”
Toni Braxton revealed that she had lupus after she was hospitalized for a flare up. The singer assured her fans that she was all right and thanked them for their support, reports Prevention.
Nick Cannon was diagnosed with lupus nephritis in 2012. Lupus nephritis is a variant of lupus disease that causes inflammation of the kidneys. Since being diagnosed, Cannon has appeared in videos to raise awareness of the disease.
Seal contracted discoid lupus erythematosus when he was 23-years-old. The disease is what has caused the scars on the singer’s face, along with his loss of hair.
