PHOTOS: Walmart Opens Its First Convenience Store (Think 7-Eleven)

Walmart (WMT) opened its first convenience store in Betonville, AR on Saturday, March 15.

walmart-wmt-stockThe company’s first Walmart to Go is set for a grand opening on March 19. The store is a hybrid that combines your traditional convenience store with a grocery store, a quick serve restaurant, and even a gas station.

Betonville’s Walmart to Go has plenty of ready-to-eat food including deli meats, market fresh pizzas, sandwiches, a Greek yogurt smoothie station and more. The store also features merchandise like a small grocery store with wine, beer and frozen foods.

On top of that, the convenience store features six gas pumps outside as well as an outdoors picnic area.
