Sony (SNE) releases several PlayStation Plus free games every month as a way of rewarding its loyal Plus subscribers.

Mercenary Kings is available for free download to PlayStation Plus members this month.

This 2D shooting game was released for PlayStation 4 on April 1. In Mercenary Kings, you battle against a pernicious force that takes over a secret lab. You must find the right weapons to stop them in order to save the world.

Batman Arkham City is a 2011 classic that forces you to fight against the toughest criminals in Gotham City.

This action-adventure game requires skill, stealth, and a killer instinct. Batman Arkham City is the sequel to 2009’s Batman Arkham Asylum, another highly popular PlayStation 3 game.

Arkham City has received plenty of accolades including an ‘A’ rating from 1UP.com, a 10/10 from PlayStation Magazine and a 5-star rating from PCWorld.
