The new tour will have 39 cast members and will be handled by Feld Entertainment. Feld has been doing Disney’s on-ice adaptations since 1981. Frozen on Ice will require nine tractor trailers to haul assets for the performance to the various locations where it will be shown, reports Cinema Blend.

Disney is pulling out all the stops to make Frozen on Ice  a success. The performance will include 20 snow machines to help give Elsa her ice powers. The tour will also include a giant video projection panel that will display the North Mountains from the film. A stage that looks like a six-sided snowflake will also be used in the performance, Cinema Blend notes.

It’s no surprise that Disney is making a Frozen on Ice adaptation. The film already has much to do with ice and snow. It also helps that the film has a strong set of songs to pull from for the performance. The film won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film and Let It Go won an Oscar for Best Original Song.
