Ashley Habat was upset that the school didn’t give her enough time to prepare her son for picture day at Sonshine Christian Academy, a private school, and went to Facebook to vent about it. She tagged the school in her post, but only put it on her wall, reports News4Jax.
The day following Habat’s Facebook post, the school alerted her that her son, Will, had been expelled due to her comments. The school claims that Habat had a week to prepare for picture day and that she was “sowing discord” in the school. Sowing discord isn’t allowed according to the school handbook that Habat signed, News4Jax notes.
A person claiming to be Habat, but who goes by Ashley Raine on Facebook, has left a one-star review of the Sonshine Christian Academy on the social media website.
“I feel like they (Sonshine Christian Academy) acted in the opposite of what a Christian establishment should have and I plan to make it known to the local public! Christians are supposed to be Christ-like. Get ready Sonshine, because this upset mommy is going to be sowing some serious discord after today!”
