More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average remained flat, the Nasdaq declined 0.1% and the S&P 500 stayed consistent.
Some of the biggest gainers among services stocks include:
- American Eagle Outfitters (AEO): AEO stock is up 7.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Media General (MEG): MEG stock is up 7.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Weight Watchers International Inc (WTW): WTW stock is up 4.0% today and up 23.6% in the last month.
- GNC Holdings Inc (GNC): GNC stock is up 3.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Abercrombie & Fitch Company (ANF): ANF stock is up 3.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Bob Evans Farms (BOBE): BOBE stock is up 2.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Ulta Salon Cosmetics & Fragrance (ULTA): ULTA stock is up 1.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Petsmart Inc (PETM): PETM stock is up 1.4% today.
- Home Depot (HD): HD stock is up 1.2% today.
- Ann Inc (ANN): ANN stock is up 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among services stocks include:
- Hertz Global Holdings Inc (HTZ): HTZ stock is down 12.0% today.
- Caesars Entertainment Corporati (CZR): CZR stock is down 3.2% today and down 21.4% in the last month.
- Lowe’s Companies (LOW): LOW stock is down 2.6% today.
- Life Time Fitness (LTM): LTM stock is down 2.6% today.
- China Lodging Group Limited (HTHT): HTHT stock is down 2.3% today.
- Orix Corp Ads (IX): IX stock is down 2.3% today.
- Partner Communications Company Ltd (PTNR): PTNR stock is down 2.3% today.
- On Assignment (ASGN): ASGN stock is down 2.1% today.
- Grand Canyon Education (LOPE): LOPE stock is down 1.7% today.
- The Fresh Market (TFM): TFM stock is down 1.8% today.
