- Randgold Resources Limited (GOLD): GOLD stock is up 2.3% today.
- Silver Wheaton Corp (SLW): SLW stock is up 2.1% today.
- Newmont Mining Corp (NEM): NEM stock is up 2.0% today.
- Iamgold Corp (IAG): IAG stock is up 1.9% today.
- New Gold Inc (NGD): NGD stock is up 1.9% today.
- Eldorado Gold Corp (EGO): EGO stock is up 1.7% today.
- Mrc Global Inc (MRC): MRC stock is up 1.6% today.
- Scotts Miracle-Gro Company (SMG): SMG stock is up 1.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Crown Cork & Seal Company (CCK): CCK stock is up 1.5% today.
Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:
- Intrepid Potash Inc (IPI): IPI stock is down 1.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Ternium S.A. (TX): TX stock is down 1.4% today on 2 times normal volume.
- Schweitzer-Mauduit International (SWM): SWM stock is down 0.9% today.
- International Paper Company (IP): IP stock is down 0.9% today.
- Kapstone Paper and Packaging Corp (KS): KS stock is down 0.8% today.
- Graphic Packaging Holding Company (GPK): GPK stock is down 0.8% today.
- Precision Castparts Corp (PCP): PCP stock is down 0.8% today.
- Calgon Carbon Corp (CCC): CCC stock is down 0.8% today.
