• Edison International (EIX): EIX stock is up 2.9% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Southwest Gas Corp (SWX): SWX stock is up 2.7% today on 2 times normal volume.

• WGL Holdings Inc (WGL): WGL stock is up 2.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Black Hills Corp (BKH): BKH stock is up 2.6% today.

• Southern Company (SO): SO stock is up 2.3% today on 3 times normal volume.

• Targa Resources (TRGP): TRGP stock is up 2.3% today on 5 times normal volume.

• Piedmont Natural Gas Company (PNY): PNY stock is up 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

• NRG Energy (NRG): NRG stock is down 3.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Kinder Morgan Energy Partners L.P. (KMP): KMP stock is down 3.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• El Paso Pipeline Partners LP (EPB): EPB stock is down 2.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Cheniere Energy (LNG): LNG stock is down 2.8% today and down 26.4% in the last month.

• Dominion Resources (D): D stock is down 2.6% today on 4 times normal volume.

• Abengoa Yield Plc (ABY): ABY stock is down 2.5% today.

• Dynegy Inc (DYN): DYN stock is down 2.3%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• NiSource Inc (NI): NI stock is down 1.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Spectra Energy Corp (SE): SE stock is down 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Markwest Energy Partners LP (MWE): MWE stock is down 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
