Transportation stocks rose broadly on Wall Street on Friday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.5%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.5%, the Nasdaq increased 0.2% and the S&P 500 was up 0.5%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings (AAWW): AAWW stock is up 1.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Werner Enterprises (WERN): WERN stock is up 1.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Fedex Corp (FDX): FDX stock is up 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Seacor Smit Inc (CKH): CKH stock is up 1.1% today.

• Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL): ODFL stock is up 0.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Wabtec Corp (WAB): WAB stock is up 0.8% today.

• C.H. Robinson Worldwide (CHRW): CHRW stock is up 0.7% today.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• American Railcar Industries (ARII): ARII stock is down 0.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Spirit Airlines Inc (SAVE): SAVE stock is down 0.4% today.

• Navios Maritime Partners LP (NMM): NMM stock is down 0.4% today.

• Mobile Mini (MINI): MINI stock is down 0.4% today.
