More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.3%, the Nasdaq was up 0.6% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.3% higher.

- Swift Transportation Company (SWFT): SWFT stock is up 0.8% today.
- Canadian National Railway Company (CNI): CNI stock is up 0.6% today.
- Alaska Air Group (ALK): ALK stock is up 0.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (GOL): GOL stock is up 0.2% today.
- Forward Air Corp (FWRD): FWRD stock is up 0.2% today.
- Costamare Inc (CMRE): CMRE stock is up 0.1% today.
- Fedex Corp (FDX): FDX stock is up 0.1% today.
Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:
- Mobile Mini (MINI): MINI stock is down 0.7% today.
- Expeditors International of Washington (EXPD): EXPD stock is down 0.6% today.
- Wabtec Corp (WAB): WAB stock is down 0.5% today.
- Gaslog Ltd (GLOG): GLOG stock is down 0.5% today.
- Knight Transportation (KNX): KNX stock is down 0.5% today.
- Macquarie Infrastructure Company Trust (MIC): MIC stock is down 0.3% today.
- Navios Maritime Partners LP (NMM): NMM stock is down 0.3% today.
- Allegiant Travel Company (ALGT): ALGT stock is down 0.2% today.
- Alexander and Baldwin Inc (ALEX): ALEX stock is down 0.2% today.
- United Parcel Service (UPS): UPS stock is down 0.1% today.
