More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.6%, the Nasdaq climbed 0.7% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.6% higher.

- Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is up 7.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Yamana Gold (AUY): AUY stock is up 6.8% today on 2 times normal volume.
- Barrick Gold Corp (ABX): ABX stock is up 6.6% today on 2 times normal volume.
- Pan American Silver (PAAS): PAAS stock is up 6.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Anglogold Ashanti Ltd (AU): AU stock is up 6.3% today on 2 times normal volume.
- Aurico Gold Inc (AUQ): AUQ stock is up 5.1% today on 2 times normal volume.
- Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc (POT): POT stock is up 4.8% today on 3 times normal volume.
- Stillwater Mining Company (SWC): SWC stock is up 4.7% today.
- Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (AEM): AEM stock is up 4.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

- Terra Nitrogen Company L.P. (TNH): TNH stock is down 7.5% today on 7 times normal volume.
- Grupo Simec S.A. De C.V. (SIM): SIM stock is down 6.1% today on 3 times normal volume.
- Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (CLF): CLF stock is down 5.9% today.
- Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is down 4.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Ternium S.A. (TX): TX stock is down 4.1% today.
- National Steel Corp (SID): SID stock is down 3.8%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Vale S.A. (VALE): VALE stock is down 3.6% today.
- Valhi Inc (VHI): VHI stock is down 3.2% today.
- Glatfelter (GLT): GLT stock is down 2.2% today.
- Rio Tinto Plc (RIO): RIO stock is down 2.0% today.
