More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.2%, the Nasdaq increased 0.4% and the S&P 500 rose 0.2%.
Some of the biggest gainers among consumer cyclical stocks include:
- Visteon Corp (VC): VC stock is up 4.5% today.
- Federal-Mogul Corp (FDML): FDML stock is up 3.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Koninklijke Philips Electronics (PHG): PHG stock is up 2.2% today.
- LKQ Corp (LKQ): LKQ stock is up 1.9% today.
- Brunswick Corp (BC): BC stock is up 1.5% today.
- Hon Industries Inc (HNI): HNI stock is up 1.3% today.
- Gentherm Inc (THRM): THRM stock is up 1.3% today.
- G-III Apparel Group (GIII): GIII stock is up 0.9% today.
- Arvinmeritor (MTOR): MTOR stock is up 1.2% today and up 28.6% in the last month.
- Mohawk Industries (MHK): MHK stock is up 1.1%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among consumer cyclical stocks include:
- Tata Motors Ltd (TTM): TTM stock is down 1.2% today.
- Jarden Corp (JAH): JAH stock is down 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Hillenbrand Inc (HI): HI stock is down 0.8% today.
- Oshkosh Truck Corp (OSK): OSK stock is down 0.5% today.
- Tesla Motors (TSLA): TSLA stock is down 0.3% today.
- Ralph Lauren Corp (RL): RL stock is down 0.4% today.
- Magna International (MGA): MGA stock is down 0.4% today.
- Lear Corp (LEA): LEA stock is down 0.4% today.
- V.F. Corp (VFC): VFC stock is down 0.3% today.
