Tumblr: Apple (AAPL) has started up a Tumblr account for its iTunes service, reports 9to5Mac. The iTunes Tumblr account has been customized so that it more closely resembles the company’s own website rather than a Tumblr. Those that visit the website will be greeted by gifs, pictures and videos. There’s a heavy focus on music, movies and books. The website is currently filled with recommendations for the best media in 2014.
Air: A new rumor claims that Apple will start mass production of its new MacBook Air in early 2015, MacRumors notes. The new MacBook Air that is rumored to enter mass production in 2015 will have a 12-inch display and will be powered by one of Intel’s (INTC) Broadwell processors. The device is expected to be released in limited supplies in mid-2015. It will be available in silver, gold and space gray.
Pegatron: Apple supplier Pegatron is planning to make changes to its facilities following the BBC’s investigation into it, reports AppleInsider. The company sad that it will look into the claims made by the BBC in its workplace investigation. It said that the safety of its workers is its top priority. The company also mentioned that it uses a third party to conduct investigations and audits of its facility. Claims made in the BBC investigation include long work hours, underage workers and other issues.
