- Newmarket Corp (NEU): NEU stock is up 2.3% today.
- Packaging Corporation of America (PKG): PKG stock is up 2.2% today.
- Dover Corp (DOV): DOV stock is up 2.2% today on 3 times normal volume.
- W.R. Grace & Company (GRA): GRA stock is up 2.0% today.
- Graphic Packaging Holding Company (GPK): GPK stock is up 1.9% today.
- Scotts Miracle-Gro Company (SMG): SMG stock is up 1.9% today.
- RBC Bearings Inc (ROLL): ROLL stock is up 1.9% today.
Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:
- Cameco Corp (CCJ): CCJ stock is down 3.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Kinross Gold Corp (KGC): KGC stock is down 3.0% today.
- Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (CLF): CLF stock is down 2.4% today and down 28.0% in the last month.
- Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE): GPRE stock is down 2.3%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Commercial Metals Company (CMC): CMC stock is down 2.0%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is down 1.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Sociedad Quimica Y Minera S.A. (SQM): SQM stock is down 1.4%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Freeport-Mcmoran Inc. (FCX): FCX stock is down 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Hudbay Minerals Inc (HBM): HBM stock is down 1.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
