More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.2%, the Nasdaq rose 0.3% and the S&P 500 increased 0.2%.

- Questar Corp (STR): STR stock is up 1.0% today.
- Petrobras Argentina S.A. (PZE): PZE stock is up 0.6% today.
- Cosan Limited (CZZ): CZZ stock is up 0.5% today.
Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:
- Oasis Petroleum Inc (OAS): OAS stock is down 8.6% today.
- Laredo Petroleum Holdings Inc (LPI): LPI stock is down 6.8% today.
- Rosetta Resources Inc (ROSE): ROSE stock is down 5.7% today.
- Ep Energy Corp (EPE): EPE stock is down 5.8% today and down 35.3% in the last month.
- Linn Energy Llc (LINE): LINE stock is down 4.4% today and down 27.0% in the last month.
- Patterson-Uti Energy (PTEN): PTEN stock is down 3.7% today.
- Carrizo Oil & Gas (CRZO): CRZO stock is down 3.9% today.
- Wpx Energy Inc. Common Stock W (WPX): WPX stock is down 4.9% today.
- Diamondback Energy Inc (FANG): FANG stock is down 3.9% today.
- Unit Corp (UNT): UNT stock is down 5.0% today.
