- Free file software is available for citizens with income under $60,000.
- Free file software is able to store information until taxes can be filed.
- Users of free file software can use an IRS tool to help them determine which software will work best for them.
- Free file forms will be available for citizens with income above $60,000 on Jan. 20, 2015.
