Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) Prime Now, the online retailer’s one-hour delivery service, has been expanded to Dallas, Texas.
The expansion of Amazon Prime Now to Dallas is currently limited to select zip codes within the city. However, the company has said that it will be expanding to more zip codes in the area.
Amazon Prime Now one-hour deliveries cost $7.99 and two-hour deliveries are free. The service is available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m every day of the week. An Amazon Prime account, which costs $99 a year, is required to use the delivery service.
Amazon Prime Now was also recently expanded to include Miami, Florida and Baltimore, Maryland. This expansion includes the same prices for deliveries and operating hours as the Dallas expansion.
Amazon Prime Now is currently available in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Baltimore and Miami. The online retailer is planning to expand the serivce to more cities in 2015.
