Registered developers can now get their hands on the fourth iOS 8.3 beta. The new beta shows off features for filtering messages and the iCloud Photo Library, which may or may not be released with iOS 8.3. Members of Apple’s beta testing program have also been seeded a beta. This one is the second iOS 8.3 beta to be released to the public.

TV: Apple TV has added a few new apps to its service, 9to5Mac notes. TED, Tastemade, and Young Hollywood are new channels that have been added to TV. The new channels don’t require any cable or satellite subscription to be used and should show up when the set-top box is restarted. The TED channel has lectures from various people, Tastemade includes food videos and Young Hollywood is focused on pop culture and celebrities.

Camera: A new Apple patent details a possible new iPhone camera, reports AppleInsider. The patent is titled “Digital camera with light splitter.” The camera described in the patent has three sensors for splitting color. The camera would split colors into three different rays. These would be red, green and blue. The splitting of colors is designed to allow the camera to maximize pixel array resolution.
