Mischa Barton is suing her mother for $25 million.
The actress claims her mom — also her former manager — stole money from her early in her career. She adds that her mother kicked her out of an eight-bedroom Beverly Hills mansion that was purchased with Barton’s money.
The $7.8 million home has Barton and her mother as co-owners, which Barton claims occurred thanks to her mom rigging the paperwork. She has called her mother a “greedy stage mother posing as a talent manager.”
Mischa added that her mother damaged her reputation with several endorsement deals and lied about her income in the upcoming film The Hoarder.
