NASA believes we will find alien life within the next decade.
NASA chief scientist Ellen Stofan said during a panel discussion that alien life in our solar system will be detected by 2025. “In most cases, we have the technology, and we’re on a path to implementing it,” she said.
Stofan added that there will be “definitive evidence” of alien life by 2045. It will likely be discovered in our solar system, either on an icy moon or Mars.
The NASA worker said the agency will likely find little microbes of alien life.
“It’s definitely not an if, it’s a when,” Stofan said.
