Here are your Apple Rumors for today:
Pay: Apple (AAPL) Pay isn’t being added to more stores due to a lack of interest, reports MacRumors. According to a survey of the top 98 retailers in the United States, only a quarter of them accept Pay. When those that don’t support the service were asked if they would, not even a third of them said they had plans to implement support for it during 2015. This could be a drastic blow to Pay as Apple was predicting to have it supported in more than half of these stores.
Delivery: Apple has added same-day shipping to its online Store, 9to5Mac notes. Same-day delivery for the tech company’s online Store is only available in certain areas and only on select items. The new shipping option is described as being able to get a delivery to a customers within four hours of it being made. Items that qualify for same-day delivery include iPhones, iPads, iPods, and Apple TVs. Prior to this, AAPL only offered next-day deliveries.
WWDC: Apple’s WWDC is just around the corner and there are a slew of rumors for what’s going to be announced, reports CNNMoney. Among all of these rumors are a few that are worth noticing. One such rumor claims that we’ll see the release of better Watch apps during the event. Another claims that Siri will be getting upgrades to predict what users will say. One of the more interesting rumors claims that the tech company won’t be releasing a new Apple TV this year, despite many others claiming that it will. Questions to these rumors will be answered on Monday, June 8, 2015.
