Hurricane Blanca: Where It’s Headed and When

Hurricane Blanca is currently in the eastern Pacific Ocean and it threatens to hit Mexico later in the week.

It’s a Category-4 storm with 130 mph winds that is currently about 455 miles south of Manzanillo, Mexico, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Hurricane Blanca will begin moving towards Mexico’s Baja California peninsula on Thursday. It is expected to affect the region by the weekend.

The storm follows the tracks of Tropical Storm Andes which roared a few days ago but decreased to 70 mph recently. It is not expected to threaten the region.
