Ashley Madison has some 37 million members and the hack included their personal information. The hackers behind the data breach, who go by “The Impact Team”, are threatening to post everything they have online if the website’s parent company, Avid Life Media, doesn’t take it down, reports The New York Times.

The Impact Team has posted pieces of stolen information in an effort to prove its claims. The group also claims that the company doesn’t delete information as part of a $19 service to remove users from its website. Ashley Madison is working with authorities and a security team to handle the matter. NYT notes.

“The current business world has proven to be one in which no company’s online assets are safe from cyber-vandalism,” Ashley Madison parent company Avid Life Media told Cnet while apologizing for the data breach.
