Kim Kardashian’s book Selfish has not been selling too well.
The book focuses on the reality TV star’s collection of selfies, compiled through the years. Time Magazine gave the book a raving review but Selfish owners have not been quite as happy with Kardashian’s book.
65% of Amazon buyers gave the book a one-star rating with a plethora of comments, criticizing the quality of it. Some customers had especially harsh words for Kardashian.
“I can recommend the audio version of this book. It lasts 37 seconds. The narrator basically says, ‘On this page, we have an idiot and her cleavage looking into a camera,’ 500 times,” writes one user.
Some comments were more comical, with one user giving it a five-star rating and saying they bought it because they were interested in getting into the tropical fish business. “The woman with the trout face really threw me off,” they wrote.
Kardashian held a number of book signings and promotional interviews in the months leading to the book’s release.
