The browser is being replaced with a new browser by the company called Microsoft Edge, which is being released alongside Windows 10.
As of today, Microsoft will no longer support Internet Explorer 8, 9 or 10. The troubled browser lasted more than two decades.
Microsoft’s announcement came with the message that “you should take action” as older versions of Internet Explorer could be “exploited by malware.”
MSFT stock is up 0.5% Tuesday.
