Former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle — who is in jail for child pornography charges — is suing one of his victim’s parents.
The former face of the company who underwent the Subway diet to stay in shape is in the midst of a 15-year, 8-month sentence for distributing images of underage people, as well as having sex with minors. Fogle is now claiming that one of his victims underwent severe emotional abuse in part for the behavior of her parents.
To protect her identity, the victim is being identified as Jane Doe, and the charges claim she faced “severe, traumatic and permanent injuries and mental anguish as a result.” He is looking to have her parents included as defendants in his case.
Fogle’s lawsuit claims that the parents had an abusive relationship with each other that consisted of fighting and arguing, abusing alcohol, getting drunk, physical abuse, hurting Jane Doe, and creating a great deal of distress, anxiety and depression.
Russell Taylor — one of the defendants of the case who is also in prison — photographed the young girl and he is also part of the lawsuit being issued out by the former Subway personality.
Additionally, the suit sames that that Doe’s parents did not supervise her properly, which led to her own abuse of alcohol, drugs, self-mutilation and sexual activity by multiple partners before realizing she had been photographed against her will.
