Escaped Gorilla Was Captured at London Zoo

A gorilla that escaped a London Zoo was finally captured after a brief departure from his enclosure of a home.

An emergency in the area was created when the gorilla escaped, which is a decision it made in tribute to the death of primate Harambe, according to people on social media.

Social media blew up once there were rumors that a gorilla was out in the wild, which some called part of “an uprising for Harambe.” The aforementioned primate was shot and killed by staff in May at Cincinatti Zoo after grabbing a child who fell off into its enclosure.

Someone else claimed that the animal that escaped was “the spirit of Harambe” who was still alive. The incident came to a conclusion once the gorilla was capture.

Staff members called the animal a psycho as the ape smashed the enclosure glass a couple of times. They added that the zoo was not at risk.

No one was harmed by the gorilla during the period of the escape, but the situation alarmed locals nearby and in the rest of London. The name of the gorilla was not revealed.

Whether or not the animal was making a statement for Harambe is anyone’s guess, but what we do know is that this move speaks volumes on the nature of zoos and whether or not they provide a good atmosphere for animals.
