Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2016 will mark the 90th iteration of the historic New York City event.
The anniversary version of it will include some massive celebrities and performers, including the likes of Tony Bennett and Sarah McLachlan. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. ET, and it will include 2.5 miles of public viewing area.
Grandstand tickets are not available to the general public, but you will still have the opportunity to see the amazing show, which begins on the Macy’s store at 34th Street, which is in Herald Square. It will run through 6th avenue, then through Central Park West until it reaches 77th Street.
Some of the headliners at the event who will not be performing include the Muppets, as well as Olympic gold medalists Laurie Hernandez and Michelle Carter. The list of performers
, however, is quite impressive.
Tony Bennett is probably the biggest name on the bill, but other performers include Daya, De La Soul, Easton Corbin, Fitz and the Tantrums, Jacob Whitesides, Kelsea Ballerini, Maddie & Tae, Chloe & Halle, Brett Eldredge, Aloe Blacc, and more.
Gold medalists Laurie Hernandez and Michelle Carter will also be in attendance, while a slate of other musicians, athletes and celebrities will be in attendance at the event.
The big balloons at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2016 are some of the iconic attractions of the event, and Snoopy will be returning this year.
The event will be broadcasted live on November 24.
