Leading the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) rumor mill today is news of the name’s for Apple’s 2017 smartphones. Today, we’ll look at that and other Apple Rumors for Monday.

Monday Apple Rumors: Apple's OLED Smartphone Will Be the iPhone XiPhone X: New information in a firmware update reveals possible names for the upcoming 2017 iPhone line, reports 9to5Mac. According to information in this firmware update, the tech company is planning to launch three iPhone devices this year. The names of these devices will be the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X. The iPhone X will reportedly be the OLED device that will include major updates to the line. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will be similar to the iPhone 7 line.

iPhone Production: A new rumors claims that production of the iPhone X is less than 10,000 units a day, AppleInsider notes. This rumor comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The limitations in production mean that there will likely be a shortage of iPhone X devices available at launch. It also means that the months after release will probably have customers putting up with continued shortages of the device.

4K TV: Rumor has it that the 4K Apple TV will feature a new remote, reports MacRumors. These rumors are based on information found inside the update for tvOS. There are lines of code that refer to “actuator calibration” and “force calibration.” It is possible that this means the new remote for the set-top box will feature haptic feedback. The tech company is holding a press event tomorrow, which is when the device will likely be announced.
