Kohl’s Corporation (NYSE:KSS) has announced the Black Friday Kohl’s hours for 2017.
Before we even get to Black Friday, the retailer has started offering deals three days prior to Thanksgiving Day, with Kohl’s deals going live online at 12:01 a.m. CT on Monday, Nov. 20. The company is offering plenty of discounts on everything from toys to kitchen appliances and electronics.
These discounts will be offered from now through Friday online. As far as actual Thanksgiving Day shopping goes, Kohl’s will roll out in-store Black Friday deals starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday, which is an hour earlier than its 6 p.m. opening from a year ago.
Many have been talking about the fact that Black Friday sales are getting earlier and earlier this year, pushing many of customers away from their families on Thanksgiving and into retail stores. Workers have also had to stay at a retailer in order to help consumers out with their holiday shopping.
“I think the traditionalists will have a hard time stomaching that,” Josh Elman, a consumer and retail analyst with Nasdaq Advisory Services, told to Business Insider. “But I think at the end of the day … the whole idea and concept of Black Friday deals in store will diminish over time.”
Will you go out and shop on Thanksgiving Day, or will you save your Black Friday shopping for Friday?
KSS stock gained 1% Monday afternoon.
