Patriot Day is only a week away and it is a commemoration of all the men and women who fought bravely on September 11, as well as the victims who lost their lives in one of the nation’s worst tragedies.

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been nearly 17 years since that terrible event that claimed so many lives in U.S. soil as it feels like only yesterday. The events that transpired in New York City shook the entire world and the country was never the same after that.

We did see the grit and determination of our country when the event happened as thousands rushed to the scene to save as many lives as they could, proving the resilience and bravery of the men and women of our nation.
