YouTube (GOOG) co-founders Steve Chen and Chad Hurley have just released a new video stitching application developed by their company Avos Systems.
The app, Mixbit, was made for those who like to play with video and it allows its users to combine anywhere between two and 256 videos into one. Avos’ new venture allows users to edit the length of clips by cutting them, rearranging them and combining them with others.
Additionally, users can use publicly shared videos as well as their own videos with Mixbit.
Mixbit has just been made available on the Apple (AAPL
) App Store, according to The Washington Post. Avis is expected to release an Android version of Mixbit within the next few weeks.
The privately held Internet company is also known for purchasing the website Delicious, a social bookmarking website.
