Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Frappuccino with a special version of the drink.

From March 26 to March 30 Starbucks is including a Birthday Cake Frappuccino to its United States and Canadian customers. The special drink is “vanilla bean and hazelnut, topped with raspberry-infused whipped cream.”

The history of the Frappuccino extends back to before Starbucks gave it its official release in 1995. Baristas at the company’s Santa Monica, California location started experimenting to make the frozen drink in 1993.

Starbucks’ official Frappuccino launch included the U.S. and Canada. A year later, the company expanded the menu item to Japan. Now it’s available at all of the coffee chain’s locations in 66 countries.
