People that still have money on a Radio Shack gift card now have a way to get it back.
A judge has approved a settlement that allows those that still have Radio Shack gift cards to file claims and get their money back. The claims must be filed by Dec. 2, 2016 if customers want to be considered eligible for getting their money back.
Customers have the option of filing their claims for the returned money from Radio Shack gift cards through the mail or electronically. Customers will need to include a copy of their card in the claim, but don’t need to know its balance.
Customers that bought their Radio Shack gift cards are being given priority in this case. Those that obtained their gift cards for returning merchandise, as a result of a customer dispute, or other similar reasons, won’t have priority.
