Allegiant Air to Serve 3 New Cities, 22 New Routes

Allegiant Air is expanding its presence around the nation.

The Las Vegas-based airline is adding three cities and 22 new nonstop routes to its fold. Flights to two new destinations are being added–Sonoma, Calif., and Albuquerque, N.M.

The move marks the first scheduled flight between Las Vegas and Sonoma. Allegiant Air also announced a giveaway of $1 million in free travel to go along with the new routes..

“By offering $1 million worth of free flights, we’re hoping to make a lasting and impactful connection with thousands of travelers by creating opportunities that will fulfill a personal need or desire and result in an unforgettable Allegiant experience,” CEO Jude Bricker said.

 

Flights to Sonoma will begin May 19 and to Albuquerque on June 2, operating twice weekly on Sundays and Thursdays. A third new flight is being added by Allegiant Air to Evansville, Ind., flying there from Orlando’s Sanford International Airport.

Additionally, four routes will be added each from Orlando, Destin-Fort Walton Beach and Jacksonville, Fla., three from Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two from Los Angeles International Airport and one each from New Orleans, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas.
