Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) has eliminated a price-matching refund policy.
The online retailer used to have a policy that allowed customers to get a partial refund on the company’s products if the price of an item was lowered within seven days of purchasing it.
It may come as no surprise that Amazon did not publicly announce the move. However, the price-matching refund policy still applies for televisions sold by the company.
The e-commerce retailer claims that it has not changed any policies and it was simply offering an exception to some customers in certain purchases.
AMZN stock is up 1.3% Tuesday.
