Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) has cancelled a fundraiser planned for Donald Trump.
CEO Brian Krzanich was slated to have a fundraiser in his hometown of Atherton, Calif in order to benefit the Republican candidate in his bid to become the president of the United States.
The move was sudden and the reasons behind the cancellation have yet to be announced, but it could be caused by Trump’s increasingly polarizing views on immigration and women.
The GOP candidate has infamously declared that he will build a wall to keep Mexican immigrants out of the country.
INTC stock is up 0.3% Thursday.
