Ford (F) debuted its 2015 F-150  at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday.

Ford’s new F-150 has some major changes made to it when compared to previous models. The biggest change is that the majority of the 2015 F-150 is now made out of aluminum. Previous model of the truck were mostly made out of steel, but Ford used aluminum to help the pick-up truck shed some pounds. In fact, the 2015 F-150 weighs 700 pounds less than older models, reports The New York Daily News.

Other changes made to Ford’s 2015 F-150 include a tailgate step, load ramps built into the truck and a surround-view camera for parking, The New York Daily News notes.

“The new F150 will be the most important reveal in Detroit this year, not only because of its volume and market impact, but because it will establish a new standard for advanced design in the full-size truck segment,” Karl Brauer, an employee at Kelly Blue Book, told The Los Angeles Times.

Ford didn’t steal Detroit Auto Show with its 2015 F-150 reveal as General Motors (GM) ended up taking home the Car and Truck of the Year titles. The show also featured several interesting concept cars.

F shares were up 1% as of Monday afternoon.
